About the account lockout function
This function prevents accounts that have failed to log in a certain number of times from attempting to log in for some time.
This function will offer protection from the fraudulent access to Unipos accounts.
The account lockout function cannot be disabled.
The account lockout function will be applied when the user themselves enter an incorrect email address or password.
How to set up account lockout
- Go to Team Admin > Security > Security Settings > Account Lockout
- Click “Edit”
- Set the “Number of Login Failures” and “Account Lockout Time”
- Click “Save”
About “Number of Login Failures”
- The number of login attempts that can be made before the account is locked out.
- The default number is 10.
About “Account Lockout Time”
- The length of time before the account lockout is reset.
- The default length is 15 minutes.
※The account lockout function cannot be deactivated.
When an account is locked…
Until the account lockout is reset, the account can't be accessed even when the correct password is entered.
The login screen displays “Your Unipos account is locked”.
An email will be sent to the registered email address of the locked account with the following.
- Subject: Your account has been locked for security reasons
- Sender: no-reply@mail.unipos.me
※No email will be sent to “Login ID members”.
How to log back in after the account is locked out

※If you are not using the Login ID function, all members “email address members”.
Tips for the Account Lockout Time function
- If your organization uses SSO, this function will only be applied to the members who have an admin authority.
