About Password Policy
You can set the complexity of the password that members use to log in.
The following 4 items can be set

Minimum number of letters for password (Minimum Password Characters)
- You can set the minimum number of letters required for a password.

The default setting is 8 letters and up.

You can choose the conditions on password letters.

Restrictions on Using Past Passwords
- You can restrict the use of passwords that have been used in the past.

Usage restrictions can be set between 1 and 24 generations.

Example) If you set "1 generation”
- Members can't reuse their previous (1 generation ago) password.

Members can reuse passwords older than the last 2 generations.

Example) If you set "1 generation”

Password Expiration

You can set up expiration period for member's passwords in days.

Example) If you set "90 days"
- Passwords will be expired 90 days after registration.

Example) If you set "90 days"

You can set up expiration period for member's passwords in days.
- When the password expires, the password reset screen will be automatically displayed.
Set up password policy
- Go to "Team Admin" > “Security” > “Security Settings” > Password Policy
- Click “Edit”
- Set arbitrary items
- Click “Save”
Changes after the password policy is updated

Password policy will be applied to passwords registered after policy setup is complete.

Passwords that were already registered when the password policy was set up can continue to be used even if they do not comply with the policy.

If you would like to encourage members to change their passwords after the update of the password policy, you can do so through one of the following 3 ways.
- Set an expiry date for the current passwords.
- The admin contacts applicable members directly and ask them to change their passwords.

The admin resets applicable members' passwords from the "Team Admin" screen.
- If SSO is set up, the password policy applies only to members with admin authority.
