About session timeout
This function that after a member is inactive for a specified period of time on Web browser (PC), they will be logged out of Unipos automatically.
This function mitigates the risk of someone else taking control of the computer when the member is away from the computer while logged in.
The following 2 ways settings.

- You can enter the period of time for specific members.

- You must enter a shorter period of time than the time specified for all members.
Once a session has expired…
When a member does not perform any action for a certain period of time, the session times out when the “Timeout Period” set by the admin is reached.
You will receive a message indicating that your session has timed out.
How to set up session timeout
Session timeout for all members
- Go to Team Admin > Security > Session Timeout settings
- Click “Session timeout for all members” > “Edit”
- Enter any number of minutes in the “Timeout Period” field
- Click “Save”
Session timeout for specific members
Enter the period of time
- Go to Team Admin > Security > Session Timeout settings
- Click “Session timeout for specific members” > “Edit”
- Enter any number of minutes in the “Timeout Period” field
- Click “Save”
How to add applicable members
- Enter a member's name in the search field
- Find the member for whom you want to set a session timeout and click
Applicable members are added to the list.
How to cancel session timeout
Session timeout for all members
- Go to Team Admin > Security > Session Timeout settings
- Click “Session timeout for all members” > “Edit”
- Leave the “Timeout Period” field blank
- Click “Save”
Session timeout for specific members
Enter the period of time
- Go to Team Admin > Security > Session Timeout settings
- Click “Session timeout for specific members” > “Edit”
- Leave the “Timeout Period” field blank
- Click “Save”
How to remove applicable members
Hover the cursor over the member you want to remove and click the bin icon on the right side.
Tips for the session timeout function

This function is not available in the smartphone app.

Session timeout for specific members does not allow you to set a different “Timeout Period” for each member.

When the session times out, unipos will automatically go back to the login screen(https://unipos.me/login).

If SSO is activated, members will not be able to sign in using the regular login method. Please inform the SSO login method to members beforehand.

When the session times out, unsent posts that have not been saved in drafts will be deleted.
- We recommend that members be advised to use the draft function frequently.
