About the account lockout function
This function prevents accounts that have failed to log in a certain number of times from attempting to log in for some time.
This function will offer protection from the fraudulent access to Unipos accounts.
The following two points regarding account lockout can be set by the Unipos admin.
- Number of Login Failures: The number of login attempts that can be made before the account is locked out.
- Account Lockout Time: The length of time before the account lockout is reset.
When an account is locked...
The login screen displays “Your Unipos account is locked”.
Until the account lockout is reset, the account can't be accessed even when the correct password is entered.
Your registered email address are sent from the email address with the subject line below.
- Subject: Your account has been locked for security reasons
- Sender:no-reply@mail.unipos.me
What to do if your account is locked
If your account is locked, you need to log in using one of the following methods.
- Wait until the account lockout is reset, then enter the correct password at the login screen
- Reset your password
Wait until the account lockout is reset, then enter the correct password at the login screen
After the account lockout is reset, you can log in by entering the correct password at the login screen.
If you know the correct password, please wait until the “Account Lockout Time” set by the admin has passed and try logging back in.
※The “Account Lock Time” set by the admin will be included in the email.
If you forgot your correct password, please log in using the password reset method.
Reset your password
If you reset your password, you can log in without waiting for the “Account Lockout Time” to elapse.
Please follow the steps below to reset the password.
