First of all
Unipos will renew the design on April 20, 2021.
You will be able to try out the new design first starting March 25, and you can switch back to the old design until April 20.
After the renewal, you will still be able to use the existing functions.
Background of the Design Renewal
Since its launch on June 29, 2017, Unipos has been adding various functions to make the contributions of you and all workers more visible, with the vision of "Uniting people through positivity and purpose". On the other hand, there were some areas where clarity and ease of use were compromised.
We have decided to redesign Unipos to make it easier to understand and use as a foundation for delivering more functions that allow people to express their gratitude and visualize their contributions as quickly as possible.
Schedule
The schedule is as follows.
- Transition period: March 25 - April 19
- Full transition date: April 20
*Team admin and Analytics screens will switch to the new design on April 22, and we will announce the details of the changes separately around mid-April.
*The schedule is subject to change depending on the development status. If there are any changes, we will notify you again via bell notification, etc.

Major changes
Timeline

Change the screen into two parts so that you can focus on the timeline where members' activities are gathered.
- "points received" and "points available" → Go to the right area of the screen.
- "Drafts" in the side menu → Go to within the submission form (see below).
- "Dashboard" in the side menu → Go to the right area of the screen.
- "Announcements by admin" (if set by the administrator) → Go to the right area of the screen.

It will be changed as shown in the figure below.
You will still be able to use the existing features such as clap and quote posting.

In the posts that you receive, the icon will be colored around it.

The clap icons will be changed as follows.
Members who have clapped for a post can still check it by hovering over it as before.
▼Reaction
The button for reacting to the received post will be moved to the upper right corner of the card.
You can also edit reactions from this button.
Send form
▼Select a recipient
Enter the member you want to send the message to in the "To" field.
Members can still be searched by name or account name (formerly known as nickname).

As before, you can freely enter the text.
The "@", "+", and "#" input commands can be used in the body text input area.

▼Add hashtags
The button for adding a team hashtag will be moved to the bottom right of the send form.
You can also enter your own hashtags in addition to the team hashtags as before.
The text will turn blue when it is recognized as a hashtag.

The points entry field will be moved to the lower right corner of the send form.
You can choose the points from a variety of options or enter them directly on the keyboard.

Draft function
▼Save draft
The Save Draft button will be moved into the menu.

▼Edit drafts
If you visit Unipos after saving a draft, you will be notified that you have a drafted post.
You can check the list of drafts from within the send form and select one to edit directly in the send form.

Also, when you close the screen or move to another page with a post in progress, you will be asked if you want to save the draft. You can save the draft right there.
Other
▼Descriptions to assist in operation
When operating a button, you can check the description of what operation you can do by hovering the cursor over it.
▼Renewal of colors and text
The main color blue and the text colors black and gray are darkened for easy visibility.
Also, some text sizes have been increased to reduce reading difficulty.
▼Change the name of the "nickname"
Change the name of "@sato" from "Nickname" to "Screen name".
There are no changes to the functions and roles. You can still use account names to search for people to send to, or to search for members in the search bar.

How to use the new design
1. How to switch to the new design
Click "Try new Unipos" at the top of the timeline to switch.
After closing the notification, you can use the "?" mark at the top of the screen to display the switch button at any time.
2. How to revert to the old design
You can switch from "Revert to the old design" at the bottom left of the timeline.
