Confirm the details of an award event
From Team Admin > Award > Award system, click on Award event name to view the details.
The default setting automatically 1 awarded post and 4 awarded members.
You can customize awards to reflect what works best for your organization. This will effectively raise awareness for your organizational values and improve motivation in each department.
There are 2 award categories: "Awarded posts" and "Awarded members".
1. Awarded posts are for the posts that shared admirable events or action.
Under the default setting,
the post that received the most number of claps
within the specified period will be displayed.
2. Awarded members are for the members who proactively appreciated other members' admirable actions and who demonstrated admirable actions to other members.
Under the default setting,
the top 3 members who sent/received posts and
the top 3 members who sent/received claps
within the specified period will be displayed.
※In the event of a tie, the top 6 menbers will be displayed in order of the number of people who claped.
Edit and customize awarded posts
Awarded posts can be narrowed down based on "team hashtag", "department", and/or "category".
You can select the awarded posts for each department, in accordance with their value awareness.
Hover over the awarded posts you wish to edit or customize and click on the pencil icon to edit.
- Up to 10 team hashtags can be chosen.
If you choose "hashtagA" and "hashtagB", the awarded posts will be selected from the posts that include these 2 hashtags.
(This is an AND search, and posts containing both #hashtag A and #hashtag B will be selected.) - Up to 10 departments can be chosen.
You can specify departments which the recipients of the posts belong to.
For example, if you choose "Department A" and "Department B", the selected posts will include the posts addressed to those who belong to either of those 2 departments.
※Specify departments will include all descendant departments under the specified department.
Example: If you select "Department A," the submissions received by people in the descendant departments of "Department A" will also be included in the choose. - You can choose a category from "Most claps received” or "Most members clapped".
After you choose a category, click "Search".
The top 5 posts will be displayed based on the criteria.
You can choose 1 awarded post. Then, click "Save this post" to finalize your choice.
※You can add up to 10 awarded posts.
Customization examples for awarded posts
- The post with the most number of claps (Marketing Department)
→ "unspecified team hashtag" x "Marketing department" x "Most claps received" - Value Award - #unsunghero (Sales Department)
→ "#unsunghero" x "Sales department" x "Most members clapped" - Unsung Hero Award #1
- Unsung Hero Award #2
- Unsung Hero Award #3
→ "#unsunghero" x "unspecified department" x "Most members clapped"
The top 5 posts will be displayed for you to choose the awarded posts from.
※If you don't specify a hashtag or department, the search results will include all members.
※You can create hashtags specifically for award selection purposes, so that you can narrow down the nominated posts.
※If you add or update each member's department, the following 2 points must be met in order to narrow down the awarded posts.
- The customization of awarded posts must be implemented on or after the day after each member's department is changed.
- The last day of the extraction period must be specified as the date after the day on which each member's department was changed.
Edit and customize awarded members
Awarded members can be narrowed down based on "department", "position", and/or "category".
By using the "category" criterion, you can acknowledge a lot of members who are actively using Unipos and are taking proactive actions.
※You can't customize the number of members to be awarded.
Hover over the awarded menbers you wish to edit or customize and click on the pencil icon to edit.
- Up to 10 departments can be chosen.
If you choose "Department A" and "Department B", the selected members will include those who belong to either of these 2 departments. - Up to 10 positions can be chosen.
If you choose "Manager" and "Leader", the selected members will include those who have either of these 2 positions. - You can choose a category from "Most posts sent", "Most posts received", "Most claps sent", or "Most claps received".
※You can add up to 10 awarded members.
Customization examples for awarded members
- Good Leader Award (Sent posts)
→ "unspecified department" x "Leader" x "Most posts sent" - HR Good Leader Award (Sent claps)
→ "HR department" x "Leader" x "Most claps sent" - Sent posts (Marketing Department)
→ "Marketing department" x "unspecified position" x "Most posts sent" - Members who received the most number of claps (Tokyo HQ)
→ "Tokyo HQ" x "unspecified position" x "Most claps received"
※If you don't specify a department or position, the search results will include all members.
※Add "Leader" to the position to encourage active engagement of the leaders.

※If you want to exclude admins from the award selection candidates, a quick and easy way is to add a new position such as "General employee" and ensure that you don't register the admins for this position.

Reminders for posts addressed to multiple members
Calculations for awarded members
- Members who sent many posts
- When you send a post to multiple members, it is counted as one post regardless of the number of recipients.
- When you send a post to multiple members, it is counted as one post regardless of the number of recipients.
- Members who sent many claps
- When you clap for a post addressed to multiple members, each clap is counted as one regardless of the number of recipients.
- When you clap for a post addressed to multiple members, each clap is counted as one regardless of the number of recipients.
- Members who received many posts
- When a post is sent to multiple members, each recipient is considered that they have received one post.
- When a post is sent to multiple members, each recipient is considered that they have received one post.
- Members who received many claps
- When a post is sent to multiple members and receives claps, the total number of claps will be added to each recipient's and sender's calculations.
※For the purpose of the Award function, the number of claps will not be divided among the sender and recipients of the post.
- When a post is sent to multiple members and receives claps, the total number of claps will be added to each recipient's and sender's calculations.
How to confirm recipients of a post
When a post was addressed to 8 or more members, click "Display all awarded members" to confirm everyone's names.
