※You cannot delete departments via CSV. See this page and delete it.
Items you can enter when update add members via CSV
You can enter the following 2 items when you update departments.

1. Click "Update multiple departments"
See: Update departments' information and click "Update multiple departments".
2. Download a CSV file for all departments
Click "Download all departments' CSV files", choose an encoding, and click "Download".
※Encoding※
UTF-8 is recommended, and this is the default option when you download a CSV template.
If your software is not compatible with UTF-8 or you are not able to upload a file with UTF-8 encoding, please use Shift-JIS.
If you are not able to upload a file with Shift-JIS or you receive an error message, please contact Unipos customer support.
3. Download a CSV template to update multiple departments
Click "Template for updating information" and "Download".
4. Enter information about departments to the CSV template
To change department names
Example) Change the department names as shown below.
Refer to the CSV file which you downloaded at Step 2, and enter information you want to update to the CSV template.
The CSV file you downloaded at Step 2 contains the current information. Please enter updated information in the CSV template.
To change the hierarchy of the departments
Example) Change the hierarchy as shown below.
Refer to the CSV file which you downloaded at Step 2, and enter information you want to update to the CSV template.
In this example, the second layer (level2) will be updated to have a child department. Therefore, the third row has been copied and pasted to the CSV template.
Enter 'Engineering Department' to the third layer (level3).
The 'Planning and Development Team' and 'Development Administration Team' under the 'Engineering Department' are already hierarchized. Therefore, you only need to input 'Engineering Department' in the CSV template.
※Note※
・Parent departments must be pre-registered.
・Please ensure that the correct department codes are entered.
・To add new departments, please use the "add multiple departments" function and not the "update multiple departments" function.
・Do not delete or modify the item names in the first row of the CSV template.
5. Choose the file you created
Click "Choose CSV file" and select the file you created at Step 4.
Please choose the same character encoding as the CSV template you downloaded.
(When you download a CSV template, UTF-8 is selected as the default encoding. If you downloaded a file with UTF-8, you don't need to change the encoding option here.)
※Encoding※
・If the character encoding of the file chosen in " Choose CSV File" is different from the character encoding chosen on the screen, an error will occur.

6. Upload the file you created
Once you have completed Step 5, click [Upload] to upload your CSV file.
Click "Upload" to upload your CSV file.
7. Confirm your file has been uploaded
Once the uploading process has started, you will see a pop-up message: "Your CSV file is being uploaded."
※If it takes over 15 minutes for upload※
An error may have occurred.
Please check your connection and re-upload your CSV file.
Once the upload has completed, you will see a notification at the bottom left-hand corner.
Click ”Confirm results".
If you see a message: "Errors have occurred", see Failed to add multiple departments simultaneously via CSV. Please amend your CSV file and re-upload the file.
