What is Login ID function?
The Login ID function allows you to add members without email addresses.
Members who were added with Loging IDs (hereinafter referred to as "Login ID member" can sign into Unipos by inputting the following three items.
- Team identification number
- Login ID
- Password
This function is useful when members don't have your organization's email addresses.

Reminders for the Login ID function
Organizations that cannot use the Login ID function
- Organizations with the SDGs plan cannot use the Login ID function.

The Login ID function cannot be used along with the SSO.
- The Login ID function is not available when SSO is turned on.
- If your organization uses the Login ID function, the SSO will not be available.
Functions that Login ID members can use
- Login ID members can only use the smartphone app version of Unipos.

Login ID members cannot use the functions below.
- Unipos functions on the web browser
- Team admin functions
- Analytics functions
- Externally linked tools (Teams, Slack, etc.)
- Emails from Unipos

Login ID members cannot contact Unipos customer support themselves.
- They will need to go through the Unipos admin within your organization.
Adding / updating Login ID members

When you use the Login ID function, you need to use one of the following methods to add members.

Email address members
- Members are registered with their email addresses.

- Members are registered with Login ID's.

Login ID's can be registered when you add members using this method.
- Login ID's cannot be modified after they are registered.
- Email address members will not receive Login ID's.

Login ID members can be switched to Email address members.
- Once switched, members will be able to use functions that are not available for Login ID members.
- Please see the following page for instructions on how to switch.
- Email address members cannot be switched to Login ID members.
Gift card transactions for Login ID members
※This is applicable to the organizations that have the Enterprise Plus plan or the Enterprise plan with the Unipos Gift Pay option.

Login ID members will not be able to receive gift cards by email.
- Login ID members need to claim gift cards on the Gift Exchange screen on Unipos.

If the account is suspended when gift cards are issued, they will be available on Unipos. They will not be sent by email.
- The user of the account need to claim their gift card on their Unipos account.
- To do that the admin will need to reactivate the member's account.

If the account is deleted before gift cards are issued, they will not be sent by email. The member will not be able to claim their last gift card.

If you are deleting an account, please make sure to wait until the two actions below have been completed.
- The member has claimed their last gift card on the Gift Exchange screen on Unipos.
- The member has confirmed that they have claimed all gift cards on the Gift Exchange screen on Unipos.

How to use the Login ID function
There are 4 steps for Login ID members to sign up.
- Team admin turns on the "Use the Login ID function"
- Team admin adds a Login ID member
- Team admin shares the account information with the member
- The Login ID member sign up for Unipos based on the account information
1. Team admin turns on the "Use the Login ID function"
Team Admin > Team > General settings > Login ID to turn on the "Use the Login ID function".
Once the Login ID function is turned on, Login ID members can be added.
The Login ID function cannot be turned off when there are Login ID members.
2. Team admin adds a Login ID member
Add a Login ID member on the Team Admin page.

※Login ID's cannot be modified after they are registered.
※Email address members will not receive Login ID's.
3. Team admin shares the account information with the member
Once a Login ID member is added, a PDF document will be generated that includes the account information.
Team admin will need to download this document and share it with the member.

4. The Login ID member sign up for Unipos based on the account information
Each member signs up for Unipos based on the account information.

Members will need to keep this account information, as they will continue to use it to log into Unipos.
