What's the private post function?
This function allows you to make any post private on the timeline.
※The admin has authority to manage the private post function.
※This function is available on the web platform only.
If you make posts private…
Posts that are made private are handled by each function as follows.
Timeline
Member
Private posts will not be viewable by members on their timelines.
You will also not be able to perform actions on the post, such as applauding, reacting, copying links, and so on.
Admin
On the Admin's timeline, they will be displayed with a note.
Quote posts
Posts set to private by the admin can't be quoted.
If the source of the citation is made private, it will be "The post can't be displayed".
Points
The points associated with a post that has been made private will remain the same as before it was made private.
The points sent/received by members who sent/received/clapped a post will not be restored when the post is made private.
Notifications
In the following, notifications regarding posts that have been made private will be erased.
If you republish a post, it will remain erased and you will not receive it again.

In the following, notifications about posts that have been made private, but have already been received, will remain.
However, you will no longer be able to access or react to the relevant post from the notification.

- Teams Notifications
When a post is made private, the member who sent/received the private post will not receive a notification that the post has been made private.
Posts that Display into external linking tools
Slack
Posts that are made private will also be erased from the Slack channel displaying the post.
If the post is republished, it will remain erased and will not appear again.
Other External Tools
Even if you make a post private, the posts that are already displayed will not be erased and will remain.
However, you will not be able to access or applaud the post.
Analytics
Data related to posts that are made private (posts, claps, points, etc.) will be included in the aggregate and CSV of each data in the Analytics.
How to make a post private
- Access the timeline.
- Click "" next to the post you want to make private.
- Choose "Hide this post."
There is no limit to the number of private posts.
How to make a post public again (how to remove a private post flag)
- Access the timeline.
- Click "" next to the post you want to make public.
- Choose "Make this post public again."
When a post is made public again, members will be able to view it from the timeline.
Posts that have been made public again will be displayed in the timeline in chronological order based on the date and time the post was sent.
