Reminders for gift cards

  • Gift cards are issued by the 10th business day of the month.

  • Gift cards are subject to multiple expiry dates.
    • Under any circumstances, the expiry dates for gift cards will not be extended, and expired gift cards will not be reissued.
    • Please see "Expiry dates for gift cards" for more information.

  • The amount of a gift card is calculated by multiplying the points the user earned in the previous month by the organization's point rate (1 point = X yen).
    • The amount will be rounded down.
    • The points you earned in the previous month can be confirmed in the dashboard.
    • Please contact your organization's Unipos admin to confirm the point rate.

  • If the points the user earned in the previous month are valued under 50 yen, gift cards will not be issued.
    • Earned points will not be carried over to the following month.

  • If "Points received" is valued between 50 and 99 yen, am Amazon gift card will be automatically issued.
  • Gift cards are issued each month.
    • You can't combine points earned over multiple points.

  • The choice of gift card can't be changed once confirmed.

 

How to exchange points with gift cards

1. Access the Gift Exchange page

Web（PC）

  1. Log into Unipos.
  2. Click "Gift Exchange" on the left-hand side of the screen.

 

Smartphone app

  1. Open the Unipos app and tap 三 at the top left corner of the screen.
  2. Tap "Gift Exchange".

 

You can access the Gift Exchange page from the email notification.

※Click "Receive Gift Cards" to go to Unipos.

 

2. Access your gift cards

Web（PC）

You can access your gift cards in one of the following ways.

  • Click the gift card exchange link.
  • Click "Display QR Code" and scan the QR code with your smartphone.

 

Smartphone app

Tap "Exchange".

 

If you can't access the gift card, please see the page below.

What if I can't access the gift I received?

 

Gift cards issued in or before June 2024

Gift cards issued in or before June 2024 will not show up on the Gift Exchange screen.

The URL to receive these older gift cards is in the email from Unipos as noted below.

Subject: 【Unipos】You've received a gift for the points you earned last month

If you can't locate the email, please contact Unipos customer support.

※When you contact Unipos, please indicate which month your gift card was issued.

 

3. Choose a gift cards

Choose one gift card of your choice and click "Choose this item".

 

4. Display and receiving a gift card code

Follow the instructions on the screen, click "Choose" then "Show Code" to display the gift card code.

 

5. Using a gift card code

When using a gift card code, please follow the instructions displayed on the screen.

 

Expiry dates for gift cards

Gift cards are subject to multiple expiry dates.

Under any circumstances, the expiry dates for gift cards will not be extended, and expired gift cards will not be reissued.

Please be mindful of each due date.

  • Selection Expiry Date: the last day of the month, on the 5th month after gift cards are issued.

    • This is the due date for accessing your gift cards and select one.
    • You can see this date on the Gift Exchange page on Unipos.

  • Code Expiry Date: the last day of the month, on the 23rd month after a gift card is selected.

    • This is the due date for displaying and obtaining the gift card code.
      ※This applies to Amazon gift cards, Applie Gift Cards, and Google Play gift codes.
      ※You must obtain and make note of the code before this date.
      ※Once the date passes, you will no longer be able to see the gift card code.

  • Usage Expiry Date: 10 years after the gift card code is displayed.

  • This is the due date for using the Amazon gift card after adding the code to your Amazon account.
    ※This expiry date is applicable to Amazon gift cards only.
    ※Apple Gift Cards and Google Play Gift cods don't have usage expiry dates.
