Unipos account status types
The four types of account status are as follows.
1. Inviting / Awaiting sign-up
The member has not yet signed up for Unipos.
2. Active
The member has signed up and their account is not "suspended" or "deleted."
3. Suspended
The admin has suspended the member's account and the use of the account is temporarily restricted.
4. Deleted
The admin has deleted the member's account.
If the account status is "(1) Inviting / Awaiting sign-up" or "(2) Active" for 5 or more days in a calendar month, that account is subject to the monthly fee.
※Unipos runs an account status determination once a day.
※Please refer to "The numbers of billable accounts" for more detailed information on how monthly fees are calcurated. The information contained on this page may be particularly helpful if you have an employee leaving or joining your organization.
※Account status can be confirmed in Team Admin > Member > Members > Download all members as a CSV file.
What happens to a "Inviting / Awaiting sign-up" account?
Log-in
You can log in to Unipos from the URL in the invitation email below.
※If you are not using SSO, an invitation email will also be sent every Friday to those who are currently invited.
Invitation email
Subject: Welcome to Unipos!
From: no-reply@mail.unipos.me
For more information, please see Sign Up / Log In.
Posts and claps
You can also post and applaud to the invited accounts.
Received points
A user can receive points through posts and claps while their account is invited.
Points that can be sent to other users
Accounts being invited are subject to the same weekend point reset and point replenishment at the beginning of the week as active accounts.
Downloading a point CSV
A point CSV includes information on invited accounts.
(With this function, you can download a list of points which each member earned in a month.)
※See "What's point CSV download" for more details.
What happens to a "suspended" account?
Log-in
Once an account is suspended, the user will not be able to log into Unipos.
※The user of a suspended account will not receive an email to reset their password.
Posts and claps
Posts can still be sent to a user of a suspended account.
However, the member who is suspended will be able to view the received posts on Unipos when his/her account is returned to "Active".
※If your company has Slack or Teams linking, the suspended member will be able to see the message from the notification sent to each tool, as long as he/she turned on the "received posts" notification for Slack and Teams in his/her personal settings before he/she was suspended.
※When sending a post via the Web (PC) or smartphone app, if the recipient includes a suspended member, the message "Your post to suspended members will be sent once their account is reactivated." will be displayed.
Received points
Earned points(Total) will be retained until the account is reactivated.
A user can receive points through posts and claps while their account is suspended.
Points that can be sent to other users
Points that can be sent to other users will be retained until an account is reactivated. However, suspended user's points will not be reset on weekends or added at the beginning of the week.
Once an account is reactivated, the user will be able to use the points they had at the time of their account suspension. Their points will be reset and added from the following Monday.
Downloading a point CSV
A point CSV includes information on suspended accounts.
(With this function, you can download a list of points which each member earned in a month.)
※See "What's point CSV download" for more details.
What happens to a "deleted" account?
Log-in
Once an account is deleted, the user will not be able to log into Unipos.
Please note that a deleted account can't be recovered.
(Data such as points received, posts, dashboard values, etc. cannot be restored.)
Posts and claps
Posts and claps previously sent will remain even after the deletion of an account. Thus, points will not be deducted from the recipients of posts and claps which were sent by a user of a deleted account.
Posts can't be sent to a user once their account is deleted. However, if a user of a deleted account receives a clap, that user will earn points.
※A deleted user's icon and user name will remain on Unipos.
(The search function and profile pages are not available.)
Received points
A user of a deleted account can receive points.
(Example: if a clap is given to a post which was sent before the account was deleted.)
Downloading a point CSV
A point CSV includes information on deleted accounts.
(With this function, you can download a list of points which each member earned in a month.)
※In a point CSV, information on donations will not include users whose accounts were deleted in the first five days of the month.
※See "What's point CSV download" for more details.
Creating a new account after deletion
After an account is deleted, the account name and email address can be used to create a new account.
However, please note that the data in the old account will not be transferred to the new account.
